- TRUE linkswear was founded in late 2009 by two passionate walking golfers who knew there was a much better way to build golf shoes. Instead of putting nails in a dress shoe, they decided to build a shoe around the human foot by adding water proof materials, leather and traction elements to enhance what is naturally the ideal platform for any activity.
In early 2010, these two walking golfers got together with a Top 50 player in the world who was fed up with suffering season after season from uncomfortable golf shoes as he plied his trade around the world to create the TRUE tour. The first barefoot golf shoe ever was also quickly lauded as the most comfortable golf shoe on the market."TRUE linkswear is a company of passionate golfers who, through hard work and countless iterations, created a ground-breaking minimalist golf shoe that allows the golfer to truly feel the course. Our employees are required to play eighteen during the work week because consistently and repeatedly testing product is the only way to find out how it performs in all conditions so it can be improved. Our company breathes the game and everyone who works at TRUE loves to play and test product. In fact, Product testing is part of every job description. We all enjoy walking fairways with friends, sharing stories, knocking down pins and being outdoors. The TRUE tour was created because of a belief that traditional golf shoes try to "nail you to the ground" with severely over engineered features that actually put you in a position to fail every time you swing a club. Elements such as a raised heel, a shank, an unnecessary mid-sole and soft-spikes, that combine to increase shoe weight while aligning the body incorrectly for the golf swing and walking. We wanted to change the way millions of golfers enjoy the game by giving them a product that worked naturally with their bodies and provided true technological benefits. No unnecessary features, added weight, false claims, or empty promises. Just the closest thing to a barefoot golfing experience as possible. Our customers called the TRUEs "slippers with traction" and word began to spread. TRUE linkswear had a strong 2011 thanks to tens of thousands of golfers who gave our unique looking shoes a chance and we are very grateful."
SIZING: Please order normal UK size. SPORTSTECHLAB will gladly provide a full refund or exchange shoes for a different size if ill-fitting provided shoes have not been worn outdoors, tags remain on the shoes and shoes are returned to our warehouse.
